By accessing or using the DFM — Defence Finance Monitor platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including institutional subscribers, individual analysts, and trial users.
DFM is a structured intelligence platform providing data, analytics, and AI-assisted research on the European defence and security industrial base. The platform includes entity profiling, knowledge graphs, procurement analytics, investment tracking, regulatory mapping, and AI-generated intelligence. Access is provided via a web application and API, subject to subscription tier.
Access is provided under the subscription tier selected at registration. Tiers (Standard, Professional, Institutional) grant different levels of access to data, API calls, and AI features as described in the product documentation. We reserve the right to modify tier features with 30 days' notice. Credentials are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You may use DFM data and outputs for internal research, analysis, due diligence, and advisory purposes consistent with your subscription tier. You may not:
DFM compiles data from public, licensed, and AI-processed sources. While we maintain rigorous data quality standards, we do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any specific data point. Platform outputs — including AI-generated narratives, scores, rankings, and scenario analyses — are analytical tools, not official assessments. They must not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial, legal, or procurement decisions.
DFM is not a financial advisor, legal advisor, or regulated intelligence service. All investment, compliance, and strategic decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
The DFM platform, including its database structure, ontology, taxonomy, software, and AI models, is the exclusive intellectual property of Stroncature S.r.l. Public source data used in the platform remains subject to the rights of the original sources. Users retain ownership of any data they submit to the platform (e.g. workspace items, requests).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stroncature S.r.l. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that endangers platform security or other users. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Naples, Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
